The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy is a nationally recognized leader in pharmacy practice, education and research committed to developing leaders in pharmacy education, pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences who make a difference in human health worldwide.

On Dec. 3, 2014, UNC announced a $100 million commitment to the  school from Fred Eshelman, a 1972 graduate of the school, founder and former CEO of Pharmaceutical Product Development, and founding chairman of Furiex Pharmaceuticals.
